Purpose
This article highlights the updated user interface changes in the Encompass® ELD mobile application, covering the Dashboard, Login Duty Status Selection, and View Log screens for both Android and iOS devices.

Steps to Follow
Dashboard Screen

Notable features:
- Informative status card with large selectable "Change Status" button.

- Most used option cards:
- View Log.
- Edit Log (now single touch - previously multiple touches). For more information about editing logs, click here for Android or here for iOS.
- Trip Info (now single touch - previously multiple touches).
- Vehicle Inspection (DVIRs).
- Roadside Inspection.
- Contact.
- Messages moved to the top header as a messaging balloon.

Notable features:
- One touch UI:
- If the driver taps YM then ON automatically selects with it.
- If the driver taps PC then OFF automatically selects with it.
- Easy to understand large "cards" for quick selection.
- Dynamic alert notifying Drivers how much time they have been Off Duty to help avoid accidentally starting a shift early.
View Log - Android

Notable features:
- Updated UI:
- Enhanced grid view to allow for full screen.
- Moved side navigation bar to the bottom.
- Aligns with iOS implementation.
- Navigation: Users can select the back arrow on their device OR select the Encompass ELD logo in the top-left corner.
What Not to Do / Common Pitfalls
- Do not look for the Logout button in its previous location—it has moved to the bottom of the dashboard.
- Do not look for Messages in the main menu—it is now a messaging balloon icon in the top header.
- Do not expect the side navigation bar on Android View Log—it has moved to the bottom to align with iOS.
