Purpose

Trimble CoPilot is a built-in navigation tool designed to help drivers safely and efficiently plan routes and navigate while staying compliant on the road.

What is Trimble CoPilot?

Trimble CoPilot (also referred to as ALK CoPilot) is an add-on navigation system available on Compliance Tablets. It provides truck-specific GPS navigation, including turn-by-turn directions and route guidance tailored to your vehicle. Once installed and configured, Trimble CoPilot works alongside your ELD to support your daily driving activities with real-time navigation and helpful prompts.

How Trimble CoPilot Helps Drivers

Trimble CoPilot is designed to simplify the day-to-day driving experience by providing:

• Turn-by-turn navigation to help drivers reach their destination safely and efficiently.
• Route planning based on vehicle profiles (such as truck specifications).
• Integrated driving clocks displayed alongside the map for better visibility of Hours of Service (HOS).
• On-screen prompts and alerts, including reminders to update duty status after stopping.

These features help reduce guesswork, improve route accuracy, and keep drivers focused on safe driving.
