Purpose
This article explains how to move units between partitioned locations (Virtual Setups) in Encompass. Units can be moved from the Unit File, from the Unit Roster/List page, or in bulk. This differs from simple Reporting Level changes in basic setups.
When to Use This Article
- You have a Virtual Setup and need to move a unit from one company location to another.
- You need to move multiple units at once between locations.
- You need to know how to reassign a unit to a different company/reporting level in a partitioned setup.
Steps to Follow
Go to Vehicles > List.
You can move the unit directly from the unit's file, or you can move the unit via the main unit roster page.
The Unit field will be prefilled based on the specific unit file you are currently in. Select the new Company/reporting Level. Click Move Unit at the bottom.
From Unit Roster/List Page
Units can be moved right from the vehicle/unit list page. Check the box next to the unit you wish to move. Then, above the table, click Move.
