Steps to Follow

The first full week of each month, daily LIVE Webcasts are held at 1 p.m. CST. Click the links below to register for one or more sessions.

Monday

• Getting to Know the Encompass User Interface and Driver Training Area
  • Overview of how to navigate the system with an emphasis on navigating between "subjects" while a file is already open
  • Overview of option features available within Employee and Vehicle Files
  • Mention of Hiring Process (covered in depth in Thursday's webinar)
  • Walkthrough of the Training Area

Tuesday

• Getting Started with Encompass Vehicle File Management
  • Walkthrough of creating a Vehicle in Encompass and what is available within the basic file
  • Walkthrough of customizing Preventative Maintenance
  • Walkthrough of creating a Repair Order

Wednesday AND Friday

• Getting Started with Encompass ELDs
  • Walkthrough of creating Drivers in the system alongside creating Logins
  • Walkthrough of "one-time setup" -- creating Activation Code and adjusting Company Rules
  • Walkthrough of creating Vehicle files and discussing what is needed for Fuel Tax reasons
  • Discussion of how to install and configure the ELDs

Thursday

• Getting Started with Encompass Driver Qualification Files and Hiring Process
  • Walkthrough of creating Drivers in the system and a more in-depth look at the basic employee file
  • Walkthrough of setting up, customizing, and inputting Driver Qualification files (focus on 30- and 60-day alerts)
  • Walkthrough of customizing the Hiring Process
  • Overview of how the Hiring Process works

What Not to Do / Common Pitfalls

• Do not wait until the last minute to register -- sessions may fill up.
• Do not assume the webcasts cover every Encompass feature -- each session focuses on a specific topic area.
• Do not forget to check the schedule for the current month, as dates may shift based on the calendar.
