Purpose
This article explains how to access and use the MVR Requests Roster in Encompass to view driver Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) requests, including their status and report details.
When to Use This Article
- A customer needs to check the status of an MVR request (Ordered, Completed, Errored, etc.).
- A customer wants to view MVR report details for a specific driver.
- A customer cannot find the MVR Requests tab in Encompass.
Steps to Follow
- Confirm the user has the DQ MVR Request role applied. (See User Roles for more information on editing roles.)
- Go to Drivers > Driver Qualification.
- Select the MVR Requests tab.
- Review the roster for employee information, report date, request type, and request status (Ordered, Completed, Errored, etc.).
- Hover over an employee's line and click View to see the full report details.

What Not to Do / Common Pitfalls
- Do not overlook the DQ MVR Request role requirement — the MVR Requests tab will not appear without this permission.
- Do not confuse "Errored" status with a failed MVR — it indicates an enrollment or processing issue that may need troubleshooting.
Escalation Path
- If a user has the DQ MVR Request role but cannot see the MVR Requests tab, contact Encompass Support at 1-800-327-1342.
- If an MVR request remains in "Ordered" status for an extended period, contact Encompass Support at 1-800-327-1342 for investigation.
